Science Fair

My science fair group was doing our project on fizz pop rockets this is where you need film canisters coke water juice any liquid you need and berocca and blu tack. Our category was fair testing.

We wanted to find out which fizz pop rocket would go off first and which one would go highest.Before the experiments we said that coke would come first juice second water third. In my group was me,Brendon and Ryan. Our conclusion was that first was coke second was water and last was juice. So we can say that coke is the best liquid for the rockets.It was finished just yesterday which was good because they had to be taken to the hall this morning at 9:00 I had great fun with my friends working on science fair and finding out new things.

My Weekend

On the weekend I had a game of soccer against Rotorua Hurricanes and we lost 3-1 which sucks. Also it was my little brothers birthday party and I got to have my friend Brendon over for the night. Also for brothers birthday my mum put lots of ballons on the trampoline and my brother popped all of them. Then we had lunch and a cake and for dinner we had KFC then went to bed and in the morning I went on the trampoline with Brendon again then he had to go home and thats about it.

On Friday my friend Shaun came around to my house for the day and most of the time we played on the tramp which was cool and I had a real good time and on Saturday our team the tornadoes vs the three kings from Auckland and we lost 8-2 which really sucks but after it was so fun and I also played pool.

Earth Science

Over the past 6 weeks we have been doing earth science in our fitness team first I went to Mr Dyke
with him I had to work on earthquakes and he made us do an assignment where we had to make a pamphlet on how to survive a disaster.Next i went to Mrs Vaughan for volcano work which was fun.Then I went to miss Donaldson and we did experiments with her.

Last term we went to Rotorua museum to learn about Mount Tarawera and someone who works there was nice to take us around the museum and we looked at all the exhibits also we watched a film of the Mount Tarawera eruption which was cool.

On Saturday we had a game against J.P.C and we lost 7-5 to them but it was a fun game which was good this weekend i am doing the food famine for 20 hours which is probable hard but i reckon i will have fun it take place from 8pm to 4pm.
